Dr Ezeji trained at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu, and graduated with the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1990.

He travelled to the UK in 1994 for further postgraduate medical training culminating in the award of the DFFP (2001) and JCPTGP (2003) certificates, among others, as well as Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2003.

Dr Ezeji was appointed a GP (Family Physician) Partner at the Grange Road Practice, a family medicine practice in South London, in 2004, and appointed an NHS South East London Medical Appraiser in 2011.

He also served as a member of the Board of the South London Faculty of the Royal College of GPs and a member of the Governing Board of the NHS Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group.

Dr Ezeji is a member of the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth and, in partnership with the Society for Telemedicine and eHealth in Nigeria, assisted the Federal Capital Territory to conduct an eHealth policy workshop in 2013, delivering an eHealth policy, strategy and road map for the FCT, the first of its kind in Nigeria.

Dr Ezeji was a Clinical Adviser for the Royal College of GPs in the UK, a member of the Society of Family Physicians of Nigeria and a Shell family physician and Head of Clinical Services Commissioning for Shell Health Nigeria.

Dr Ezeji currently works as a GP in England.
